Freewheel Differential for 1/2" shafts with 1/8" keys.  One DRILL mark notes it has a 1.375" Bearing bore.

Differential for 1/2" shafts with 1/8" keys.  Great for trikes, Karts, Rickshaws and Pedicabs.

NOTE: SPROCKET is NOT included - you must add it to your cart if you want it.  This way you pick the sprocket you need.

All CNC machined out of 6061 T6 Aluminum and Black Anodized.

This differential is made with Dicta Brand 1/2" x 3/32" or 1/8" 18 tooth freewheel sprockets and Two High Speed Ball Bearings one on each side for extra support.

The freewheels allows the rear wheels to over run each other on turns so you can make tight turns and ZERO drag while coasting.

Both wheels will pull going forward and both wheels will pull if on Ice or in mud.

You will need a brake on each side of the axle to stop the rear wheel since the body of the differential has freewheels in it, it will not stop the axles.  You can use dual pull brake levers or brake one side at a time.

The Complete hub body is about 3.82" wide and the center body is 3.48" OD.

The smaller OD where the bearing is placed is about 2.25" OD x .6" deep.

The drive sprocket NOT included can be placed to the Left, center or Right side of the flange.

shafts are included.

You also get:

Two: 1/2" ID x 1.375" OD High Speed Ball Bearing.

Twelve: 6 mm flat washers and Six 6 mm x 1.0 nylocks nuts.

Six: 6mm x 1.0 x 80mm long SHCS to hold it together.

Six: 1/4-20 x .5" or .625" long SHCS (3 on each side) to hold the freewheels in the housing.  You have Nine bolts that drive the freewheels on each side.

Four:  1-3/8" ID Snap rings.  The bearings are held in place with snap rings to keep them in place.

Two:  Custom made freewheel adaptors to the freewheels.  Use the set screws to hold the keys and axle / shaft in place.

For reference only:

No Drill Marks on the hub body = 15mm OD shafts - 35 mm OD bearing or 1.3775" OD bearing bore.

One Drill Mark on the hub body = 1/2" or 5/8" shafts use a 1.375" OD bearing bore.

Two Drill Marks on the hub body = 3/4" OD shafts use a 1.575" OD bearing.

Three Drill Marks on the hub body = 1" OD shafts use a 2.046" OD bearing.

You may be able to get other brands of Freewheels if you wanted to like the ACS or White Ind. for a extra cost.

You must order the Special Six Hole Sprocket at a Extra cost:

410 Chain 1/2" x 1/8" 27 tooth sprocket zinc plated.  You could also use 415 chain.

Z72 Chain 1/2" x 3/32" 44 tooth sprocket chrome plated - that also will work with 410 1/2" x 1/8" chain.

Other sprocket sizes and types like a #25, #35, 415, #41 or #40 can be used with this differential if they are custom CNC machined.
They would have to be a "A" style - flat sprocket and machined with the large OD and the Six drilled holes.
